If they were really smart they'd cut their on air personalities, their former player analysts, a few of their online contributers but mainly and I know they don't want to do this but can ESPN 2. Get rid of the entire network. It provides nothing 80% of the year except when cfb is on. So they can that network and take that live content and put it online with ESPN 3. And ESPN 3 needs an upgrade. And if they have daily shows that come on 2 that they want to keep they can move those to ESPN and then you don't have SC on 8 hours a day.
They need to consolidate

I grew up watching ESPN. Sometime around 2007 ESPN started turning into TMZ, Gossip bs. Guys don't wanna watch that shyt all day everyday. That Tim Tebow coverage was brutal. Also the fake outage machine they have. ESPN don't even hide their freaking agendas. The only thing I cut for from ESPN is the 30 for 30.

I completely cut cable out my expense about 5 years ago, it was probably one of the best expense cuts Ive made as an adult. The only two channels I miss is MTV Jams and NFL Network during the season.

  1. if they still printing ESPN The Magazine, make it just online or scrap it all together. No one cares about physical magazines anymore:mjcry:
  2. i've been wondering about the costs of these road trips they send everyone out to since the College Football Championship game. All the ESPN2 shows, Mike&Mike, First Take, Sportsnation and His/Hers, were in Dallas for a week and FT don't even really talk about college football like that. Then a week later they were all in Phoenix for Superbowl week. Then they sent everyone to the NBA All-star game, then the Final Four. To cap it off they sent everyone to the Floyd fight for a week. Along with all the production costs for to be at all these events, these expense reports from the thousands of people they send to cover these events must be in the 10s of millions:mjlol:
  3. They should sell Grantland while it still has some buzz. Its not making any money for them so sell it off to someone and maybe that company brings Simmons back:yeshrug:
