TYRONE GA!
I don't see how the two are comparable bc they are both asked to do different things. I think Kyrie is the better player but if I had to draft a team I'd take Draymond. His overall skillset is impressive and he doesn't necessarily need to score to be effective.

Also how can you say Draymond can't score. Did yall see Game 7? He stepped up to the plate unlike some players on his team :sas2:

them nikkaz find the worst stills of Draymond :laff:

Kyrie and Draymond are in situations that are very similar yet almost completely opposite.

They are both on teams where their standout skills make them look like a monster and one of the best players in the league but as the #1 on a team, they'd be :flabbynsick: and their team would be garbage.

Draymond Green is a better all-around NBA player than Kyrie Irving.

That said, there are few people, if any, that I'd want taking the last shot in a game than Kyrie.

And to answer @The G.O.D II's question? Neither, but if I were drafting a team, I'd take Draymond over Kyrie for team fit purposes. As great as Kyrie is at putting the ball in the hoop, I need my best player to do more than just score at an elite level. Draymond will give me everything and doesn't have to have the role of "best player" to give me that.

Drafting a team to win a title, I'm taking Green as my #2 before Kyrie. Green does so much for your team, be it outside shooting or play making or rebounding or defense at literally any position, and he takes nothing away. Kyrie is a good shooter and an elite driver, but he can only defend one position, is a liability on the pick-and-roll, and he keeps the ball long enough to disrupt the flow of offense and keep shots from other players sometimes.

Kyrie is better on offense and Draymond is better on defense. But Draymond is still a fantastic piece on offense that can fit in a lot of ways, while Kyrie has to be fit around by guys who hide his weaknesses.

If you are taking Green as your #2 then your team isn't going far.

Draymond is great for the Warriors system but outside the system his overall game is suspect, Ex. Olympics. Draymond is a great defender but he is not a piece you build around around as "Your Guy", Draymond can defiantly make a team better but he won't make a bad team a good team. Draymond is and has been a 4th option for the Warriors and his playmaking skills are overrated once you take account of the system and the players around him. Draymond is also limited offensively.

Bottomline if I'm a GM I'm taking Kyrie if I'm starting a team or need a 2nd option before I take Draymond. I also don't think a team with Kyrie as its best player is going in anywhere

The thing is Green can be your second best players without being the #2 scoring option.

Seeing as these 2 play completely different positions the comparison should be who's more valuable to a team and even then it would depend on the team. The cavs wouldn't value draymond more than kyrie the same way that the Warriors wouldn't value kyrie more than green. I think that draymond helps more teams than kyrie does tho.

Both probably gonna be hall of fame players

I like Draymond defense but idk if the warriors win a championship with Draymond as their 2nd best player

So Kyrie wins
