I know y'all want to appreciate Draymond's versatility and all but nah. Kyrie is better. Draymond is an important cog for the warriors. That situation hides a lot of his flaws.

Agreed. I mean he's a great player. If you threw him on a team like Minny it would probably solidify them as a contender when the kids grow up in maybe a year or so. He's top 30 or 40. Can't take that or his skills away from him. I'd rather have Kyrie if taken at face value tho

I went with Kyrie, if both had teams built around them Kyrie's team would be better and an easier build.

How could Kyrie's team be easier to build when Green has the rarer skillset and the one that's harder to find in other players?

It's easier to find scorers than it is playmaking defensive anchors.

Exactly.

He's going to make a difference on some squads, but we're in an era where people over reward players that do "dirty" stats. If you pay attention you'll see he's 2nd on the W's in turnovers which is atrocious considering how relatively little he actually handles the ball on the team and him being the 4th option. He'll take chances at the wrong time on offense and in transition. He's a threat for a technical at any time and honestly I put last year's finals loss on him. I've said since last year that Klay is low key the most important player on the squad. I'd pick Klay over Draymond too

The blueprint for a team around Kyrie is the same as it was for Iverson and other volume scorers, get a bunch of dirty work role players and a rebounding frontcourt.

It's easier to find the Taj Gibsons/Robin Lopezs of the world than it is to find elite scorers that can hit the three and play pseudo SG to Draymond being a playmaker at the 4.
