When it's all said and done he was an artist that did it for the money. The love of the art wasn't what carried him. When he reached a level of success where he no longer had to do it anymore he chose not to do it.It’s not about him being a hip hop artist it’s a reflection of how he is as a person
Good music is timeless but when you change as a person you never want to look back on how you used to be

I put him in the same lane as Chamillionaire except Chamillionaire found success outside of rap and pretty much stopped rapping after that.
