My cousin, family man moved to ohio....few years later his running around downtown with his undies on, dude was so smart too. His family believe the wife did magic on him but I think he might've done drugs and permanently messed up his brain.
My uncle, dude was glued to cnn, msnbc, fox etc...after a while he started talking weird, then oneday declared the uliminati was after him, he got paranoid and wouldn't come out of his room.
My childhood friend, he had a promising basketball career, top 5 player in the nation..was on magazines, radios, NBA teams were looking out for him. Then during a game endured a career ending leg injury. Few months later, he was talking to himself and no one else. This is probably the saddest one to me, because I know how hard he worked since we were kids and I was with him before his injury, he showed me love!

Was friends with this Navy vet in college. When I first met him he was cool. Introduced use to some psychedelics. We used to do booms and drop acid with the guy.
As I got to know him it became clear that his life was falling apart. His apartment was a mess, his roommates were frustrated by living with him, and he was losing his grip on reality.
His art projects were childish and poorly executed. This speech became increasingly pathetic and more babyish. His behavior became more erratic. Dude was tripping on SOMETHING damn near EVERY DAY, sometimes multiple times in a day! I'd never seen anyone go that hard with the drugs. Especially psychedelics.
I walked in on him watching his computer super intently in his living room. On the screen was a cam girl that he'd paid all day to hang out with him. $375 for a few hours of video chat. Strange. Sad.
The last straw for me was when he came over to my apartment and started making threats on my life. I cut his ass off.
I stopped hanging out with dude but I heard he bought a bus and lives on the east coast somewhere with some chick he met online.

yeah, a friend got fukked up on them drugs..he was always a little bit strange but a good dude overall... but after a while he started doing drugs big time and his personallity changed, he became paranoid as fukk.. he had a party once and I was sitting next to him suddenly he´s like did you see that? he was 100% positive that another dude we hang out with was throwing bubblegum into his carpet and stomping that shyt in just to fukk with him... he rushed up and started choking the fukk out of this small ass dude 
it took four of us to get him offa him and after an hour or two talking to him and telling him he was imagining things he was like "I might be wrong, but Im not.. I MIGHT be wrong but I know I´m not" after that I was

I'm actually going with my cousin to visit our homegirl at the psyche hospital in a couple of hours....
My friend is shizophrenic and has been diagnosed as bi-polar since she's been in the hosipital. She's a bit of a pot head. And She told me her voices get worse when she smokes....I convinced her if that's the case then maybe she should have stop if that's the case, but she seemed so miserable and depressed when she wasn't high. So naturally she kept smoking. There's this dudes house a lot of people gather at to smoke and chill, and she'd go there. And my kin-fok who stay out there would tell me how she'd be creeping everyone out. The thing is though when she smoked...she seemed to idk go into la la land or something. Everytime I smoked with her I felt guilty. Like she would just look around staring and smiling and reaching out and grabbing shyt that's not there....(She has visual and auditory hallucinations)
It might sound "cute" or harmless through text but if y'all seen what I seen you'd know that's not the case.

Yup. Either a bad blunt or bad acid trip did it. He's the reason why I don't smoke with people I don't know.

This dude I kicked it around when I was 18-19 beat this white chick up he was fukkin.She slipped him a mickey afterwards and he lost his mind this nikka was walking the streets in his draws randomly lashin out at whoever,he started screaming and crying right in front of us,walking in the middle of intersections.He beat his pops up got kicked out was put in a crazy home & eventually killed himself.Never seen anything like it he lost his damn mind in a 2-3 year span

but there are drugs and shyt that happen in life that can trigger deep issues. people with mental illness tend to use drugs as the coping method. i guarantee all the people, people are posting about in here who came off as "seemingly" normal then did some drugs and became all weird and shyt had mental illness issues already but they werent full blown or it wasn't visibly noticeable, TO YOU. or something else happened in their life that really fukked with them and there are triggers. there are certain things that can trigger my mania or my depression. mental illness gets worse as you get older and experience more "tragic" emotionally and mentally affecting things.
when i was a kid, i was a real loner.. had no friends, had trouble interacting people, felt like i didn't belong, always assumed no one liked me, did some weird shyt, was kinda a bad kid... but once i got older and the affect of the dysfunctional alcoholic, not the best parenting environment i was being raised in and then experienced terrible bullying in middle school.. my issues got worse.
other than the fact, that I really should and need to get help.. a big reason why I recently took a step to get my bipolar in check is because bipolar 1 can progress where the person starts getting psychosis and experiencing schizophrenia symptoms. i've never heard or saw shyt, but it scares the shyt out of me to think that my illness could progress into that as i get older.
most people who "know me", other than close family members and 2 non family members, don't even know Im bipolar and struggle with bipolar, anxiety and really deep self esteem issues. i talked to this person one day, I've known since I was like 16 (im about to be 25) about it, after he asked me where I've been the past year (i go through period of mania where i become really sociable and shyt for a few weeks or few months..then really bad long depression where I just don't talk to anymore or hang out with people besides family for long periods of time and just like disappear) he was like "wow, really? you don't seem like that at all.. you've always seemed really happy and confident and like "normal". which to me, was so fukking weird hearing someone say that about me.
so it's simplistic to be an outsider and just be like "i knew some guy who was normal, had his shyt together blah blah... then he smoked weed or did psychedelics and now he's crazy". no, he probably always had some issues, they went untreated and got worse with life experience and time.
