:ohhh: I've never had anyone break it down like that. :salute: Where can I find a resource that gives me calorie breakdowns for common foods? Also what about carbs? I'm fat bc of carbs and sugars from fried foods, bread, and sweets.

Google is your friend gawd. Check the nutritional facts on everything you buy, most will tell you how many cals is in that bytch as well as carbs, protein, etc. You can even use a site like myfitnesspal to track your shyt, they have a huge database of common foods.

It might seem overwhelming at first, but as soon as you get in a routine, you'll get results. Won't happen overnight, but stick with it. If you count your calories properly and exercise, YOU WILL lose weight. I promise. No bullshyt diets, no secret tricks, it will take discipline, but it will payoff if you want it to.

Nah son, you're fat because you're eating too many cals.

Those things like white and/or sugary bread and sweets are packed with calories and you're getting very little out of them as far as protein or other macronutrients.

For example, you could eat a candy bar with like 300 cals in it with 1 gram of protein and 20 grams of carbs, or you could eat a piece of wheat toast with only 100 calories, 5 grams of protein, and 20 grams of carbs. Calorically dense foods are foods that are high in calories that offer little nutritional value

For body composition's sake, just worry about the calories in the foods you're eating. Fried foods gotta go for the most part, sweets gotta be seriously rationed or go altogether, eat whole wheat bread if you gotta eat it.

Honestly fat isn't all that bad, it's just that a gram of fat is gonna have more cals in it than a gram of carbs or protein would, that's why you gotta limit them from a body composition perspective

Dudes are in here exaggerating like crazy. :pachaha:

He's not some stick figure now or something.

He needed to drop weight. He became way too plodding in Miami, needing a screen to get around any perimeter defender and shyt. It's a testament to how talented he is that a player that needs a screen to get around practically anyone on the perimeter was as effective as he was. There's no way in hell that Kawhi Leonard is staying in front of '09 LeBron man to man. No way in hell. LeBron will probably never be that "guy" again athletically (i.e. '09 LeBron), but he can get closer to that at 245 opposed to 260 or whatever he was. He also got tired very quickly. He would go hard for a quarter and go on cruise control for the rest of the game, because he couldn't sustain it. I think this will help his endurance as well.

He's a better finisher at the rim now than he was in his Cleveland days; if you couple that with his added maturity, improved shooting and if can regain some of the agility and explosiveness he's lost by dropping some of this excess mass, he's going to be even more of a Minotaur. :banderas:

Kawhi wasn't staying in front of Lebron this year
