It's almost tempting to let Bowles/Maccagnan sink or swim with either Petty or Hackenberg(spolier- they'll sink) and just blow it up again after 2017 with a top 5 pick.

The only pick over the last two years that seems to have any promise is Williams. Lee looks meh, Mauldin stinks, Smith seems to be a bust and I havent seen Jenkins do anything. The Temple receiver Anderson looks ok I guess.

I think the schedule argument for the jets and teams in general is overrated.

The only good teams the jets face this year are

NE twice, Chiefs, and Seahawks. 4 games

Everyone else ranges from mediocre/slightly above average to crap. I don't see this juggernaut slate. The jets just stink
