If we're talking about the current roster, locking up Enunwa now probably would have been a good idea.

We got big money locked into two guards. Just a weird allotment of resources for a non premium position.

Damn if you do, damn if you don't. jets didn't resign matt slauson and he went on to play good, then jets fans bytch.

That offensive line needs all the help it can get and Brian winters staying is a good thing.

Offense won't be complete until they find a quarterback.

It's going to be hard to find top talent through free agency, coaches don't even want to be here right now

I agree. I also don't think that's a reason to overpay a guard. The Jets letting him walk and letting a younger guy play this year wouldn't have made a difference considering they're going to stink anyways
Winters is 25. You wanted to burn another draft pick on a guard?

Those guards suck. Dakota is a slow footed doofus

Qvale played guard. Whatever. Hardly a signing to go crazy over but you rarely see good teams have both guards on second contracts. Guards are fairly easy to find, especially with all the college tackles who just convert.

No they aren't. Guards require patience and you hope they evolve under your watch.

The only guard on a contract like Winters left playing is Decastro(who's better than Winters). It's generally not a position you see good franchises investing in.

What you label investing the jets have solidified.

Winters has improved two straight years. See No reason why he can't continue and it be a benefit to the team. It's a four year deal

You never get good paying attention to others. I understand football certain things you might wanna pay attention to, but football is a changing league, so create your own lane and learn to adapt.

That copy cat stuff never works out

Has nothing to do with copying. The supply and demand for guards favors the teams not the players. You have a surplus at the position, which allows teams to allot resources elsewhere.
