Since McCagnan and Bowles have gotten here:

- they drafted a QB in the 4th round
- they drafted a QB in the 2nd round
- they signed a garbage journeyman QB then gave him the starting gig when Geno got hurt

They have NO interest in ever seeing Geno on the field again unless it's an extreme emergency. Hell, they let Fitz throw six fukking interceptions in a close game and they didn't bring Geno in. They asked Bowles if he ever thought about pulling Fitz from the game and his answer basically told you they don't think anyone but Fitz can win games for them

Where I don't agree is with Mac and Bowles. There is a definite fissure between them with regards to Geno. Both Mac and Gailey like Geno as said in previous statements. This is about Bowles and his love for vets.

Mac had no problem with it coming into training camp. I'm convinced Fitz is here solely because of Woody.

Gailey isn't a huge Fitz fan either

It's a tough task. Keeping season ticket holders engaged while not having a long term answer at QB is how Idzik got canned. I'm more in the bucket of being cheap and aquiring low cost assets while the QB isnt here...but im also not attending the games weekly.

Either way we'll be flushing out another regime of they cant find a QB. My guess is, the free wheeling spending by Maccagnan and bringing guys like Revis back was a way to build up equity with a pissed off fanbase...that honeymoon looks to be ending soon though.

But ok fine, you don't want Geno, we have two other QB's you drafted for one reason or another. Unless you're delusional enough to think this team is making the playoffs, roll the dice. Worst case is we get a top 5 pick, best case surprise starting caliber QB

Breh Im the only one here that was willing to be patient with the previous regime and letting Idzik pick his own coach...I hate the big spending and Woody moves like bringing Revis back to appease season ticket holders. But for this current roster I think Fitzpatrick is the best QB on the roster.

I honestly think you've been pretty unfair when it comes to geno smith. Listen, I know you don't like the guy but why can't he be given an oppurtunity in the same offense fitz was given? What do we have to lose at this point?

Fitz throws 6 ints and still gets excuses made for him. If this was any other franchise the pitchforks would be out but for some reason everyone has fallen in love with that 10-6 season in which the playoffs weren't even reached. shyt! If it was like that why didn't Sanchez get this much love?!
