It's nothing to overanalyze. The QB just cant make bad throws there. Jets excelled in the red zone last year....to blame it on play calling is silly.

Which is cool, if it's working keep on doing it. But Forte was a killer in the red zone just last week while Fitz threw a pick on something like a 3rd of his attempts in the red zone. A slight adjustment in that case is all I'm asking for, 12:2 passes to runs seems like overkill especially with the results that were consistently coming from it.

Last year, Brandon Marshall was a jump ball maven. I didn't believe it would be repeated. I watch the coaches film. Teams are now rushing three in the red zone. Thats where a bull like Ivory not being here hurts because his running stye kept teams honest. And with a shorter field, they're baiting Fitz to make throwa in smaller windows...and he is failing repeatedly.

I'm really tired of play calling being blamed. Fitz is playing like trash in the red zone, pre determining who hes going to throw to pre snap and not on the fly.

Why isn't Geno playing again?

The current GM didn't draft him and is not vested in playing him. In addition, he's a FA at the end of the season and neither side is looking to extend the relationship. If Fitzpatrick were to get benched, it would be for Petty.

Geno only sees the field if Fitz breaks his leg or something in the next 2-3 games. Once the season is too far gone(3-7,4-8), Petty will be starting.

I don't agree. The current base hates him and he's a PR nightmare to play, especially for a shytty base in love with a lovable loser in Fitz.

Mac and Gailey wanted him to start. Bowles doesnt
