Because there's a difference between an artist influencing individual rappers and someone who's music has influence on entire genre and not just the genre, but movements beyond Hip Hop.

Because, when you look at Hip Hop as a culture, it's not everyday that people gravitate to a songs like that. There's a reason for that.

And what makes this whole exchange even more is that I never said that Gucci didn't have ANY impact. As a matter of fact, I gave him props. It may not have been the response that many was looking for, but it's my opinion based on my observations of his career from '04 to present. Then you have posters in here straight up saying Kendrick had no impact.
