2000 on garbage. He did some awful weird shyt for Nas, Lox, Snoop, etc. He had a few sparks here like Bubba Spark deliverance and a few Timberlake tracks but the early 2000's Timbo production was wack. He didn't come back until furtado and future sex.(and we know that was because he was with danja) And he hasn't produced any hip hop classics since.(and hes honestly never been a strong hip hop producer since he barely worked with anyone outside Magoo, Missy, and Jay) Nor has he produced anything close to that 06 period when he was with Danja. Was horrible on the BP3 and then had the nerve to leak shyt like it was fire. And do I need to mention his embarrassing phase were he try to do rock music?

its between pharrell and timberland. and tim made way dopeer r&b and pop music than the neptunes so looks like pharrell. kanye is annoying but he did put in work in the rap production game. does he have any groundbreaking classics? nah, but its really solid work. neptunes i feel were like hipster rap before that term came about. i like their shyt but i wouldnt bump it incessantly.

Dre hasnt been as consistent as some of the other legendary producers , but that dudes resume is amazing. From producing NWA, to snoop, em, 50, game etc... He doesn't just make classic records he makes superstars...

Kanye as an artist make people overlook his production resume. Classic after classic...

Timb is cool but he just doesn't have enough joints or accolades as a producer to compete with them... Dont get me wrong dude is an all time great but nah...

Timbaland also dominated radio in more genres than The Neptunes. That '06-'08 run was . In Urban music, Timbaland's '96-'01 run was crazy too.

Futuresex/Lovesounds is leaps and bounds beyond what Kanye was doing on 808's. First of all, he didn't need assistance from autotune. Secondly, the production on Futuresex was far more ambitious and more diverse.

Who cares about a name? I'm talking about the music. Even the critics that Kanye fanatics love to use to boast about Kanye have Missy's albums highly rated. Some of them rated higher than Ye's.

Timbaland and pharrell are my childhood and and teens when it comes to hip hop. Their beats define " when i fell in love with hip hop" on some brownsuger shyt. Kanye is ok. I like him enough. But for me personally, Dre can go.
I mean with no timbaland, you got no Aaliyah, missy, ginuwine, playa, etc
No pharell, no clipse. Nore beats, a lot of other shyt that he did that people don't realize
