Help me understand. So if I'm Rick Ross and I was a CO I can be bomboarded with mockery of being a cop everyday on Hip Hop social media. But if I'm an actual cop everyone is silent?

:francis:
Shaq is a "Reserve" Police officer. Which is like a glorified volunteer from my understanding AND he doesnt have records claiming to be some type of big crime lord or drug dealer. He was always just a great basketball player that loved hiphop from my perspective.

That doesnt answer my question. Every since NWA and 2pac....There has always been this "Us vs Them" thing when speaking on police and those in the urban community. Regular police arent rapping about selling drugs but they are doing it and they are killing nikkas.

So basically what u are saying is that because Shaq isnt rapping it...Hip Hop is silent but when cops are actually doing it we wanna make a fuss??
Only ignorant people have a problem with somebody being "associated" with law enforcement. It's different if you a street nikka, but just normal everyday ppl can't be frowned upon for the career path they chose, even if they are black. Yall do realize that even though there's a shyt load of racist, corrupt ass cops out here, we still need them (the good ones) until we come up with a better policing solution for our own communities, right?

Sorry buddy....But that NWA movie and 2pac and pretty much Hip Hop has said otherwise for decades.

Everything u just said is the exact opposite of what Hip Hop has been saying for decades. You are talking from "your" perspective....Not the perspective of what Hip Hop has been promoting for decades.

I guess I see your point, from a "hip-hop" perspective:yeshrug:

A lot of cats came in here and didnt really even let what I'm saying soak in. I just pointed out the hypocrisy and their first response was deflection without actually seeing the hypocrisy. I'm still waiting on @B86 to explain his logic.
Nikkas on thecoli being hypocritical?:jericho:

So what he's a reserve officer. He's around people who self incriminate themselves on wax. With all that illuminati BS I seen going into this decade of Hip Hop, how come no one has ever suspected Shaq of being an informant??? That would be part of his job correct??

Because it's SHAQ, old-ass nikka.

The hypocrisy is laughable yet sad at the same time.

Dudes have so much love for Shaq that they totally missed the contradiction
.

LOL....I saw the blind Shaq love coming a mile away. Hip Hop can have problems with police since the Grand Master Flash and The Furious Five video "The Message"......But let it be Shaq and he gets a pass. Its hypocrisy but no one wants to admit it.

Stupid muthafukka, Shaq ain't regarded as some lyrical Hip-Hop God.

Ice-T did a song called "Cop Killer" and then had a second career as a cop on TV.

Ice Cube did a song called "fukk The Police" and then played a cop in a movie later on.

See the difference? Or do you need your bifocals? :whoo:
