He's a good player but no way am I paying him max money. But some team will.

any gm who gives him more than 80 mil will be fired in a few years. Jerry West gave him away for a reason.

Having to Max Tobias is what’s wrong with the NBA

It's not a problem with the way free agency works, it's a problem with the league continuing to bail out trash GMs over and over.

Max whoever you want, but don't cry for the amnesty clause to make a return once you give Andrew Wiggins $150 mil.

If they can and if they will are two different things. As of yet the Lakers haven't done so and if this LeBron AD tandem doesn't work out, I don't see what second rounders do for them

It's worth a shot, if you hoard assets you'll just end up like Ainge. At a certain point you cash in on what you stockpile and make a run, if it doesn't work out salvage what you can and keep it moving.

Either those assets lose value (Ainge) or you just stay on the treadmill and blow your shyt up too late (Grizzlies). Nobody should expect to build a squad like GS did, it's not realistic.

Honestly I would like to set it to where for example if you sign someone to say a supermax it doesn't count cap wise anymore than the regular max....Now you would still pay the player all of the money but instead of it looking like 40% of the cap it would look like 30% of the cap for trades and cap space...Seems like once you give that supermax up you're done.

You don't have to max players like Tobias, but Tobias to many teams is about as good as they can get on the market. Would you rather them save their money for a player who won't give them the time of day?

Y'all wanted the players to get more money. Don't get mad when they do.
