So they improved as soon as the trades were announced lol. These dudes were called bums their entire careers but as soon as Woj or Shams tweeted that their were traded or let go y'all proclaimed them future all stars and that he Lakers fukked up :mjlol:

For the past few months all I heard was Ingram, Ball, and Hart were trash and overrated but when the AD trade went through folks were saying NOLA got a "massive haul" :mjlol:
Same happened to lesser extent with TJ Warren. Youtube nerd says Suns cant use him to trade for a pg because he has no value. After Suns give him away, same nerd gives the Pacers an A for getting TJ Warren, 25 year old scorer on a great contract, tremendous value :comeon:

Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard will decline his 2019-20 player option worth $21.3 million to become an unrestricted free agent, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The 6-foot-7 All-Star will be one of the marquee free agents on the open market.

The Raptors are the only team that can offer Leonard a max contract for five years and $190 million.

Leonard, 27, is believed to be seriously considering re-signing with the Raptors, sources said.

But there are a handful of teams who could secure a meeting with the 2019 NBA Finals MVP, sources said.

The appeal of returning home to Southern California is enticing to the two-time Defensive Player of the Year, but with the trust the Raptors built while Leonard led the franchise to its first NBA title by upsetting the Golden State Warriors, rival executives view his current team as the favorite to land him when the free-agent negotiating period begins June 30, sources said.

Leonard had career highs in points (26.6) and rebounds (7.3) in his lone season with the Raptors.

Eh nothing really new in that report. All this was expected. Him opting out, meetings with a handful of teams, and the Raps are the favorite.

his deadline to opt out was thw 29th... so im thinking this is a signal to a team(lakers) to get the max slot

it does deny Woj's report that Raptors have a long way to go, I don't even think he will get meetings..should be very quick if he is truly considering Raptors.

If that was the case I think he would just let them know now that he’s coming back. I still see him taking meetings. And what Haynes is reporting is what “rival executives” are telling him. Pretty much back to nobody knows what Kawhi is gonna do.

Where did the Clippers rumors really originate from?

It seemed like it went from wanting to go to the Lakers, to being traded the Raps, to still wanting to go to LA, then it changed to him not wanting to play with Bron, to strongly considering the Clips, to maybe considering re-signing.

All this without him saying a word other than confirming that he did initially want to play in LA.

It’s crazy because Woj was the one who tweeted that he wanted to go to the Lakers and doubled down on it when Bron signed saying he was focused on joining the Lakers. But now he’s saying the Lakers don’t have a shot at all and won’t get even get a meeting.
