Where did the Clippers rumors really originate from?

It seemed like it went from wanting to go to the Lakers, to being traded the Raps, to still wanting to go to LA, then it changed to him not wanting to play with Bron, to strongly considering the Clips, to maybe considering re-signing. All this without him saying a word other than confirming that he did initially want to play in LA.

Same place the KD rumors came from.

So the Kawhi rumors started by KD's agent stating publicly that he wants to run the Knicks organization and the Knicks offering him a front office role if they land KD?

I can't see Philly letting either of them go for a couple reasons.

1) They gave up too much to get both guys

2) They're too far over the cap to sign anybody even if they let 1 of them walk, so they have no means of replacing them

3) This team constructed as is, to the newly crowned NBA champs to a Game 7 and came very close to eliminating

I don't think it's a matter of the Sixers not wanting to keep both, just feel like Harris might leave & go somewhere else rather than be the 3rd or 4th guy most nights

Market already seems like there are going to be a bunch of teams with space who lose out because guys they thought would leave might not & Harris could get a max damn near anywhere because of it while ending up somewhere with a bigger role.
