How the fukk can you build your community up with spending habits like this?
Spending isn't the entire problem. The community doesn't spend money on investments, things that will lead to more money coming into the neighborhood in the future. The multiplier effect is alls fukked up.

How do blacks break the cycle then, I see where your coming from but what is the solution

One thing that would help is if we were more other cultures ain't didn't just throw out kids out to wolves at 18. So we can get our groove back or prove we still got it. It's a tuff world. As long as your son/daughter is productive let them live with you. Give them the opportunity to stack they cheese up. Don't throw them to the wolves 10k in debt from going to college struggling to find a job IF they completed it or working to make ends meet if they Didn't. Lose the who. WELL I MADE IT attitude. because times are different. Gone are they days are graduating HS and finding factory work for 18-20/hr.

I just don't get it brehs... Is that something that we can't easily do? I hate reading shyt like this because it makes me wonder wtf we're doing. When my wife worked we brought in over 100k without much effort at all. Maybe I'm jaded but two people bringing in less than 80 is pitiful.
bingo...a couple who are both working professional should be exceeding the 100 g mark. I also notice that indians tend to marry other indians in their fields not to mention arranged marriages are focused on material equity and proliferation. My neighbour whose an engineer had an arranged marriage with another engineer. For indians, marriage isnt about love but about building wealth and creating a perfect environment for their children to excel. They have different midsets and priorities when compared to blacks or whites. I guess it gives them that wealth advantage, but i dont think most are living life to the fullest.

How do you break the cycle
Are you talking in theory or in the real world? In the real world, Americans do not appreciate intelligence. There's a reason why they're always importing. To break the cycle, you need for them to break out of this country.

True. There's this (can't think of the right word) stigma if you will, of when a young black man or woman who still lives with his kin, that their a failure or whatever. I agree, that the family unit is not what it once was. When everybody literally stayed in one big house, and if said family would go off to the military, the city, or work or college, then that's what it was. If it didn't pan out, "you can always come home" now,it's not "cool" to be staying with your kin whether you productive or not. I agree, but I feel its on us to help break the cycle somehow someway. Idk honestly man. Its not looking good at all tho.

In this country, we have things called a mortgage. Pretty cool idea. It spurs economic growth. Where I'm from, it was natural to have groups of families sharing one giant house. Multi-family home construction isn't a reality.

I agree, seeing as how America ranks 5th in the world when it comes to Education. Gone are the days when you could drop out of school and go work fast foods or whatever. How do we break out of the country if you don't mind explaining

At this point I think Black people should follow the Mexican model for living(This maybe stereotypical but it has a bit of truth) Nothing wrong with multiple generations under the same roof. We are the poorest minority by race in America, we shouldn't be "Too Good" to try anything. Thinking long term this would be the best way to stack bread, while having a roof over our head and providing for the family unit.

let me put it this way........:upsetfavre:

THESE STUDIES ARE JUST A WAY FOR WHITE SUPREMACIST ( MAINLY BLACK WHITE SUPREMICIST ) TO SAY BLACK PEOPLE SHOULD DO THIS AND THAT.... LOOK AT THESE OTHER "minorities" BLAH BLAH BLAHH

In reality............................. For the most part 98% of them that are here are here for STEM careers and are some of the best businessmen from India.

% wise we are killing them. + we are progressing each year.

They are 1.2 Billion People. We are comparing 2.5 Million of them with 100% of american black people :what:

They weren't forced here either and striped of culture. There are entire housing and condo communities were I live filled with them. They are intact mentality and don't have the first 100 initial barriers to face before they start to build up .

Plus they use the Patel name game :sas1:

you know what i mean einstein...people from India vs Japanese, Chinese...this has nothing to do with my point...
When you think of slavery, imagine the break down. Slaves have this percentage, non-slaves are this. When looking at the numbers, you have to ask yourself how many management and what are the rests. White folks aren't giving up their bread.

I do believe.... you have to know you can do better and actually want better...with that mindset you will prepare yourself for success whether its through education, networking etc. You are bound to face obstacles but believing you are capable and talented to make it, can go along way. It sounds like some Les Brown shyt but I do think there is truth in this
