its a top job....Its a great job no doubt, but USC, Alabama, FSU, Ohio State, Notre Dame are great jobs too....Factor in LSU, Auburn, Michigan State, Michigan, Stanford, Okie State, Oklahoma, and now we have a heated debate....Is it the "top" job because of the money factor? If it was a top job, they would have been able to get any coach they wanted.....but they couldn't
With that being said. Charlie will do very well at Texas.....VERY WELL
Combining salary, easy recruiting, top notch training facilities and Texas is the top job. They are one of twenty two athletic programs to actually make a profit.

Like I said..HE left himself open to people feeling that way, especially when denigrating Strong to poison coach status.

His comment is stupid because he thinks too highly of the UT job. He thinks a head coach at a place like Louisville is not good enough to be a head coach at UT. Like I said prior, I disagree with him because Strong is a good coach. You just think i'm "saving" him because I won't automatically add color to the comment. Lazy.

When there are absolutely no racist connotations in his statement, I do not. It sounds like sour ass booster who didn't get his 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice of the new head coach. He was wrong for what he said, but not because it was racist.
