Middle and upper class blacks are the angriest people I know because they CONSTANTLY have their qualifications questioned even if promoted. One of my wife's friends stays thinking because my wife is an engineer AND black that she gets managerial positions, not because she's qualified. There's always that questioning. Separate the disrespect from race all you want, but it's clear.

High profile? How can he say since Charlie came from Louisvile he dont deserve the UT job when their last head coach the one who got them their national title came from fukking North Carolina of all programs? Mack Brown didnt come to UT from a high profile program or NFL gig his damn self

McCombs said his intent isn't to bash new Texas coach Charlie Strong. He simply thinks Gruden was the top coach available.

"I was disappointed on a relative basis," he said. "I thought we had the chance to have the absolute beauty of the ball and instead we got a princess of the ball. We'll do well with Charlie. I don't have any doubt.

"I have no issue with Charlie. I just happen to think I had a champion of the world that could've done it. And Charlie may be another one. We'll just have to see."

McCombs had a hard on for Gruden and was disappointed that they had to "settle" for Strong.
