UT aint been shyt since Colt McCoy left. They've been an average Big 12 team since 2009. shyt Louisvile has been a better team than UT over the past few years. I can understand if UT was coming off a BCS bowl or something or a 1-2 loss season.

I think the coordinator/position coach comment was out of bounds. But for those who don't know let me give you insight into D-1 college athletics. Boosters like red feel that are GOD @ these universities, they are the ones who pretty much financially support the top tier programs. The bigger question is how money other booters at UT feel the same way as red about the strong hire.

Winning cures everything & if strong comes in to instant success everything will be good but if he struggles I can see the leash being short especially if a lot of boosters share the same sentiments as red.
