if austin truly did draw more money then i imagine it is because the wwf had more revenue streams by 98 than they did in the 80's... not because he was a bigger star than hogan.
someone compare the numbers pre-hulk / post-hulk and then stack them up to pre-austin / post austin and let's see who really did more for the business.

I stopped watching speciifcally because The Rock walked away. I started watching again specifically because The Rock came back. I am no where near the only person who did this. He is absolutely in the top 5. Him and Austin need to be in every top 5 and so does Hogan for his impact. The other 2 is then personal opinion.

Hogan was an international phenomenon. He was one of the ten most famous people on earth during the 1980's. Austin sold more merch but he was never as big as Hogan. Not to mention Hogan was responsible for two booms a decade apart while Austin's peak run was less than three years.
