Ain't shyt
Most people just don't care. Gotta just look at it as entertainment...I hate to say it but being super mad intellectual about music these days especially popular music in any form will make your head hurt.

This is my problem with all these 90's old school ass nikkas complaining about the current state of Hip-Hop.You've done absolutely nothing to protect the art form tho.
These rappers pushing narcotics, paying for p*ssy, demonizing the poor, fetishizing white women, glorifying strippers, romanticizing addiction, etc...and thas just on one track.

If you study the past, you'll realize that its no coincidence AT ALL my brother.Been saying this IRL, but people are quick to try and shut down the argument by calling me a "hater" and "paranoid."
It's NO coincidence that the majority of new rappers out there getting deals are pushing braindead nonsense. There are exceptions, but they're just that. It's becoming the newest incarnation of the minstrel show...but what do I know?
Right, its not about me and you. I'm sure MOST of us can listen yo this all day and not be affected by it, BUT there are many highly impressionable minds out there who are. And THOSE are the ones that this music is being intentionally aimed atI will be honest, you are right. I was watching some hip hop videos, I enjoyed the brat music but its obvious every brotha in that video was lost but on the other I grew up on it, went to inner city schools and turned out fine. To me its a good beat n music but I could see a lot of young black men feeling the pressure to fit that image.
Hip hop influences fashion( since when do nikkas dye their hair, that would have got you clowned) so it can influence behavior.
LolSo this nikka just selecting his quotes at random and turning them into threads now
