Who said anything about introspection? Jay does an excellent job of introspection (D'Evils, Regrets, Lucky Me, Say Hello, Never Change, etc.) He just can't rap about anything in the world outside of himself with any proficiency. Nas, Pac, Cube, G Rap, Rakim, Kane, Slick Rick, Common, KRS-1, Black Thought, Lupe, Kendrick, Scarface, Killah Priest, Ghostface, Chuck D, Andre 3000, Posdnous, etc. the list goes on and on can.
