is he related to emeka okafur

They're distant cousins. They must be from like the same clan family or something in Nigeria.

Jahil looks to be a great prospect. I see a little bit of Duncan in his fluidity and motion. His post moves are good for a young fella and he also has shown he can hit guys cutting to the basket from the block.

But he needs to get stronger and develop some counter moves.

nothing bout that mixtape was impressive

dude has no hops and his body looks soft

I highly doubt he's the next Duncan. Whose the only great player I've ever seen with wack highlights, no ups, and a soft body.

I miss the days of you having so much red next to your name that not even a color blind poster couldn't see how garbage everything you said was :to:

dude got skills but he has below average athletcisism, slow footed, and needs to cut the fat and power up his frame.....i see a bigger jared sullinger or maybe greg monroe....there are more intriguing prospects like the the sudanesse aussie big man and dante exum...

lol at that playing like he has a father comment...fukk kind of c00n shyt is that

kid is OK. but something seems off about his mechanics. He'll need good coaching to really excel at the next level....def. has potential.

He'd become great if he went to college for 3 years and instantly make an impact in the NBA

I just don't understand how UNC fans keep coming out of their mouths about "big man development"...Zeller been an all-star? he average 10 yet? Where's Sean May? We know Hanstravel some sh*t. So is Wright. So is Ed Davis. And Haywood.

Duke's had 3 bigs with the all-star game in the past 15 years. Brand, Booz and Laett. How many y'all have?

Damn, man...get y'all mind right. You still can't help talking like it's the damn 80s and 90s. No one cares what y'all USED to send to the league, when Dean hogged all that talent for 30+ years (and only won it twice...BARELY), because since 1998...y'all haven't produced ANYTHING worth braggin.

Hopefully not the next eddy curry. 9 rebounds isn't impressive when ur that size in high school.

this, 21 and 9 and your 6'11 270...unless they were just blowing nikkas out every game and he only played like 20min, those numbers are kinda underwhelming

You have to remember also that most of these teams that hold talent like him have multiple D-1 prospects. I'm not sure who else Okafor has on that squad but there are only so many missed shots in a game. If he's playing with another good-great rebounder, they can't both average 10-15 a game. Most these guys are hooping with 1 or 2 (sometimes more) of their AAU teammates now, so limited touches and limited rebounding opportunities.

Yeah college kids dont even know how to throw simple entry passes inot the post anymore i doubt hs kids are good at it..Plus aau is like a glorified all star game where the guards chuck the ball up all the time

Clearly I was talking about their college careers. Sean May was Final Four M.O.P.....we need to talk about what he did to top 5 pick Sheldon Williams? Brandon Wright ACC Freshman of the Year, you already know about Hansbrough, Zelller ACC POY, Henson 2 time ACC DPOY

Clearly Roy is better at using/developing big men than K and Duke is.

Okafor is a name that is common among Igbos from nothern Igboland. Its like meeting black people with the last name Johnson. More than likely there was a man way way back in the day that had a whole bunch decedents which is why the name is so common. Some of their villages produce some big Lebron James looking dudes. Funny thing is Okoyes are from an area not too far from Okafors as well.

Cool. Let's talk about COLLEGE then...

Shelden was two-time NATIONAL DPOY
Booz was all-acc
Brand was NATIONAL POY, FOY
Plumlee was 1st team AA

dogg, you not saying anything...anywhere you wanna take it, Duke compares favorably to UNC. You stuck in the past and you think "UNC" carries the same weight it used to. Nobody giving bum ass Hanstravel a pass on being a BUM because Bob McAdoo played there a lifetime ago.

Roy's bigs sucked at Kansas and they CONTINUE to suck. People know this.
