I didn't say that at all. shyt, I'm not even saying this isn't a suited venue for Jigga should he have wanted it (I'm saying the opposite). But, since he's not, fukk hip hop, music in general doesn't offer many options to do a half time show of that magnitude. Have there been boring ass rock /pop bands? Of course. How many of them can say at point or another that they were mega stars? Plenty of them (including Coldplay). Those are the acts the NFL wants. I can see why they wanted Jay-Z. Beyond a couple of other hip-hop acts specifically, who has that kind of profile that could HEADLINE that halftime show? shyt, I've seen Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., Missy, Cee-Lo, and Nelly on a Superbowl halftime stage. That doesn't mean they were the headliners. If you happen to disagree with that notion, please list these acts that are being criminally being overlooked for what is the most viewed 30 minutes of the whole year.
