That's what really gets me about anyone driving drunk nowadays, especially people with a little bit of money.
It is easier than ever to get a designated driver with Uber and Lyft.
Takes less than a minute to set up a ride home. Costs a Hell of a lot less than a DUI. Doesn't risk the safety of yourself or the public.
I just don't get the selfishness.

i think people usually get some kind of settlement or plead guilty, but yeah they can go to trial if the person fights it.
