thats the main point. right now theres no need to replace harbs. but the possibility of him leaving doesnt scare me. sky wont fall

Of course, it's just a fukking game.

But at the end of the day, I can't see this team with these players accomplishing more without Harbaugh than with him.

Honestly, for all the heat Harbs is under, Baalke seems to be getting a pass. And truth be told, outside of a few moves he has been a 50/50 gm.

I really like Harbaugh and I think he's a good coach, but if he leaves cuz Michigan wants to may him out the wazoo, then :manny:

I don't want him to leave, but he's not irreplaceable, especially if there's gonna be this bullshyt cloud hanging over the organization constantly. I don't know if any of the reports are true or not, but he seems to be a pretty prickly dude. Tomsula is the guy I would want to replace him if this whole thing blows up.

"Some of the complaints include the fact that he kind of treats them like children. In fact, on planes, I'm told, they're not allowed to play music, they're not allowed to play cards. Small things, but these are the things that really can rankle players, even though the veterans do get to sit in first class."

this some :usure: shyt

Sounds like bullshyt. I can't imagine him actually doing this, and if he does, why start after 4 years? Has this always how it's been?

And don't most dudes listen to music on their headphones?

Looking at other GMs around the league....it's fairly easy to say we got one of the better ones.

The 2012 draft says differently though. I think most GM's are really a tossup to be honest.

1. Aj Jenkins - No longer on team, traded for a play who is no longer on team either
2. LMJ, no longer on team. No longer in the NFL
3. Joe Looney, he;s here, but doesn't start.
4. Darius Flemming, no longer on team
5. Trenton Robinson, no longer on team.
6. Jason Slowey, no longer on team, no longer in the NFL.
7. Cam Johnson, no longer on team.

So let's sum this up, that is a 100% miss rate. A complete failure in a year that was the year we went to the SB. Imagine he hit on a few of those picks, maybe we could have won the super bowl.

It's pretty bad when you have a draft that yields no results whatsoever a mere 2 years after.

that was definitely a bad draft, but all GMs are "overrated" if you take a look at their shyt.

Bad is not the term, it was historically atrocious.

You're talking 2 years later not a single player is on the roster and almost half are out of the league entirely.

I don't disagree. I'm just saying that he's one of the better ones. At least on the upper half of GMs, not the bottom half. I do think more GMs need to be held accountable though more than coaches.
