Keep getting bumps when I shave

Have you tried something like a T outliner instead of shaving? Sometimes even a safety razor is too close

I just realized my razor was causing one side of my to face bump up and be discolored

Switched to my t-outliners and my face cleared up in 24 hours

There are a few options…

1) use electric clippers and shave after using a warm/hot towel or shower to loosen up hairs

2) use a razor and make sure your face is damp—after the shower or put a warm/hot towel on it beforehand w/ shaving cream

3) don’t shave so close

Any regular razor shaving advice your getting is either comming from white folk or a black dude who was in the military,we can only use blades for sharpening/touching up.

Nah it doesn't. You hit this after the T liner. It's pretty light on the skin.

I know only 3% of this site is black but stop using razors — period.

Get some quality clippers, wash your face really well, and shave with no guard on the clipper. Keep the clippers oiled and clean and don’t let anyone else use it except you.

Then what do I use? Electric shaver?

Yes my Guy, I'm the same way, I can't use to cut my facial, go to use clippers. Now you can use to the straight razor to shape it up. But you can't shave with razors.

What's the solution?

Don't listen to people on the internet telling you which razor or clipper or anti-bump cream to use, go to the doctor and get some antibiotics. You have razor bumps because of bacteria, how you shave absolutely affects it, but at the end of the day it's bacteria. I use a t-outliner with a water-based aftershave and I still have a couple of bumps, the only time I completely 100% removed bumps was when I got a prescribed antibacterial wash and cream from my doctor.

When it comes to acne, hair loss, muscle growth, basically anything a man would care about... just go to the doctor.
