To have success, Bron needs shooters around him, so GMs do not add unnecessary ball handlers and play makers to surround him. This is the reason his teams go to crap when he leaves. I am not saying he is not a first ballot hall of fame player, but his value to a team is amplified when his GMs decide to sacrifice ball handling and play making ability for shooting when surrounding him with talent. Similar to the Steve Nash effect, where the value is multiplied due to the way teams are built around him.

:dwillhuh:

Lebron won a ring with a crippled Chris Bosh, an injured playmaker in Dwayne Wade, and Udonis Haslem/Joel Anthony getting started minutes in the hardest series of the playoffs.

How is that surrounding him with shooters?

YOU DUDES KILL ME WITH THIS shyt.

CLEVELAND WAS GOING NO WHERE FAST WHEN BRON CAME BACK...

YOU REMEMBER DION WAITERS?

THEY WERE GIFTED JR, SHUMP AND MOZ...
THEN THEY TOOK OFF.

KYRIE AND TRISTIAN
WERE THE ONLY ONES ON THE ROSTER
FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR
BY THE TIME THE PLAYOFFS STARTED.

STOP ACTING LIKE THAT nikka
DONT HAVE TO REVAMP ROSTERS
TO FIT HIS STYLE.

YOU CANT JUST PUT HIM ON ANY TEAM
AND MAKE THEM CONTENDERS...

EVEN MIA HAD TO RAMP UP THE ROSTER AFTER SEASON 1.

Breh you the same dude that compared Lebron not guarding durrant on the last inbound play to curry being taken out the game in the last seconds for defensive purposes.

I don't think you are really qualified to comment on any Lebron thread.

Thats why Lebron signed to a team with Dwyane Wade. Kyrie Irving. What?
Bruh, dont be dense. I am talking about the supporting cast. They are all now standstill shooters and defenders. No lead ball handlers. And Wade had to cede most of the ball handling on those Heat teams, and the point guards never handled the ball. Bron's teams have always been built around him the same way.

What ball handlers does Westbrook currently have? What about James Harden? Nobody's saying they need to be championship contenders w/o LeBron but surely they should be able to muster up a better winning % than 0.18 and losing 10 of those games by double digits, a team with Kyrie and Love should not be that bad.

Why would you get a lead ball-handler as a supporting role when you have two of the best playmakers/ball handlers as your star players? :dwillhuh:

You're also wrong. Lebron and Wade actually let Chalmers bring up the ball consistently, especially in the playoffs, because it allowed Bron to set up position on one of the low blocks. :dwillhuh:

But yes, you tend to build your supporting casts around the skill sets of your star especially when he's a one of a kind talent with incredible vision, size, athletic ability, passing, finishing, and slashing. :dwillhuh:

1st ring. Allen wasn't on the team. Bosh was injured against the Pacers and missed most of the hardest series while also only shooting less than one three a game during the playoffs. James Jones was rarely on the floor in the playoffs (Had less minutes than Ronny Turiaf).

So your idea of Lebron winning with shooters is since these are the highest MPG users during that first playoff ring.

Mario Chalmers
Dwayne Wade (Dealing with injuries)
Battier
Lebron
Haslem/Joel Anthony

That's what you call being surrounded by shooters to need success?

If you cant see me outlining who the shooters are on his squad and how players molded their games to suit Brons, I dont know what to tell you.

:dwillhuh:

I do not think Kyrie and Love are top tier players without Bron their. My comments were not intended to say Bron is anything but an amazing player. I was pointing out how the GMs around Bron have built teams that fall apart if he is missing.

Of course you wouldnt get other lead ball handlers to play with Lebron. But thats the point. If your offense is built on Bron spoon feeding everyone, then when he is not on the floor for extended time, the team will suffer. Obviously a great GM puts pieces around his stars to maximize their potential. The point in my posts is that the players that maximize Brons potential are not also players who are built to stand on their own and have success.

Its not really debatable...bron has pretty much always been surrounded with shooters
Why do those "shooters" turn into d-league status when hes out?? :what:

Breh went to the finals with Eric Snow, Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes as his starters, think about that!!:deadrose:

Just accept that son is a rare force out there no matter who he plays with.

He aint have a losing season since 04!

The most used 5 man rotations in that first playoff ring run were...

Chalmers - Wade - Battier - Lebron - Bosh (Pre-injury but he was only shooting less than one 3 pointer a game)

Chalmers Wade Battier Lebron Haslem
Chalmers Wade Battier Lebron Joel Anthony

That's what you call "surrounding with shooters"? Battier (4.8 3PA on 38%) and Chalmers (35% on 4 3PA)
