Welcome to 2014 y'all![]()
It's truethese crackers really stole our culture and put the nail in the coffin if this is true.
http://t.entertainment.msn.com/mack...o-stage-multi-wedding-ceremony-at-the-grammysMore than 30 couples will wed on-air during Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' performance of "Same Love" at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
Queen Latifah will act as officiant during the televised ceremony as the duo perform the marriage-equality anthem with Madonna at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
According to the New York Times, 34 gay, straight and interracial couples -- including Lewis' sister and her boyfriend -- will exchange vows.
2014 Grammy Guide
Defending the multi-marriage stunt from critics who are already beginning to voice their opinions about the Grammy weddings ceremony, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences president Neil Portnoy says, "I expect that people with all kinds of opinions might voice them, and that’s healthy, but we don’t need to stoop to the level of trying to find gimmicks and sensationalistic approaches to what we do."
It looks set to be an amazing night for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis -- as well as staging the weddings ceremony and performing with Madonna, the duo is also up for seven awards.
I'm confused. Macklemore makes decent music, but I hate the fact that he's labeled as a rapper, when he doesn't 'rap' to hip hop fans, he raps to pop fans, but he raps.
Is he rap or pop?
the rap judges that's part of the grammy committee didn't want to put him in the rap committee
Best post in this threadagree 100%,fuk the Grammys I might be guilty of rubbing it in Nas stans faces that he don't have one...but really I could give a shyt and I wont be watching just to see two nikkas I know perform the whole night if we lucky.
That's black folks for u though, downplaying anything black owned as if its bootleg..nikkas do it on here all the time in regards to hiphop acting like being hot in the streets means nothing,or that famous "people still watch BET(or BET awards)
"...but will sit around watching these white shows full of bullshyt you don't even understand and never breakdown the quality
....ill give the benefit of the doubt and take it to mean u don't care about the white shows but care about the black ones, and that's why you so hard on em
...but if u care, try acting like it or at least ignorantly hate on the white shows too just becuz u don't know whats goin on,cacs do it to us all the time

What bothers me is the fact that black artists often skip Black award shows like BET Hip Hop or Soul Train but yet break their neck to go to the VMAs and Grammys inspite of the fact that they don't even respect hip hop. VMA's showed us what they truly think of us and we already know about the Grammys and their history
Queen Latifah is the ordained minister?![]()
?...and don't come at me yall cuz i thought she was back in the day,but i seen her on her show before talking about men as if she need some dikk in her life
i forgot shes a good actress
No different than rappers who collaborate with Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus, Skrillex, David Guetta, etc and autotune their vocals to make pop records
Catering to that audience.
This is a straight up lie. Yeah he's white and don't like his music, but all he has been nominated in the Hip-hop category for almost every major award show.
He even won Best Rap group in the BET awards.
The rap judges ain't taking no stances like that especially since they gave it to Drake last year, who made records where he doesn't even rap

on mainstream radio and their appeal in the pop world, the source said. That's because they are seeking validation from their white counterparts... And the fact that there has not been a decent black award show in years also.

if you think they respect hip-hop any more than those other awards, ESPECIALLY Soul Train
