I'm a fan of the al Jefferson signing

He might not start but when their offense stalls he's perfect to throw it to in the post and he will make something happen

Im shocked that danny paid al horford all that money. U happy with the horford deal?

Dwight woulda been better value imo

I think Dwight was way too risky cause he'd affect the culture and chemistry

Plus horford gives us a shot at Durant

I am happy with the deal, we still have the nets picks and unless by some miracle we get Durant we will still have a ton of cap space next year cause everybody else is signed for multiple years

Play in a sport where teams have to pay 53 teammates brehs
Looks like we got a winner. Could you imagine if green bay packers had an average contract of 100m per head? That would be worth more than the person owning the team ( not the packers, bad example).

Be good at basketball.

Or play soccer overseas. Their contracts are great if you are worth a damn.

NFL players are fukked...unless you're a top tier QB you have zero leverage. New dudes emerge as elite players every season in the NFL. Practically everyone is expendable.

You think a dude gonna come off the bench in the NBA and suddenly turn into a unstoppable monster like Devonta Freeman did? shyt doesn't happen.
That's cuz football has much more moving pieces. every position is a specialist. which equals more opportunity

and devonta blew in his 2nd year, that's nothing we ain't seen in nba

It's true the NBA don't do the ratings that the NFL do in the USA. Not even close. But you have to take into account the the viewership OUTSIDE the USA. The NBA is watched globally. The NFL is not.

Anyway despite that and despite the fact there are more players in the NFL to split the money between and despite the fact there are fewer NFL games to make money there is no way NFL players shouldn't be making far more than they are. Their players union is crap. Period.

NBA and MLB have strong leadership and you are seeing the results. Hell no one even watch the NHL and they have far better contracts than NFL players. lol
