A lot of these really wealthy cats have their bread hidden in the companies they own, not in a savings or checking account. Liquidating assets can be a bytch, but not stock.

When you see all these cornball lists (esp Forbes) estimating cats wealth, that ain't liquid. Most of it is companies they own/are a part of and other investments.

You still need to be liquid enough to access cash when needed. The problem is his "worth" is tied to his brand which is directly related to how wealthy he says he is. The reason he doesn't want to release his tax returns is that it'll show he's not as wealthy as he says.
