Nobody thought he was going to KO Cotto either. Good thing for you, Floyd retired.

You really comparing Cotto and Mayweather when it comes to skills? Cotto got no stamina whatsoever and he gasses out fast as fukk trying to "box". It took him 11 rounds with cement to stop him anyway you act like Margarito got some incredible knockout power. Just because he knocked out six heads Lewis and weak Cintron don't make him the boogie man. Margarito is slow as hell and Mayweather would've made him look as stupid as he did Gatti and Baldimor.

Was DeMarcus Corley NOT at 140lbs when Floyd fought him in in 6-2004?

He even fought Henry Bruseles at 140lbs instead of going for the Champ...Tszyu:rudy:

You Floyd stans trying to revise history...not anyone else. Ricky Hatton didnt even fight Tszyu until 4-2005. Floyd could've fought him, but was trying to get an easy title off of Arturo Gatti

Tszyu fought Sharmba Mitchell in 6-2004, Floyd fought Corley in 6-2004. That fight could've been EASILY set up, but Floyd didnt want him....he wanted Gatti instead. Instead of fighting Henry Bruseles in Jan 2005, that should've been Tszyu.

Stop it:ufdup:

Lets be real, Baldomir was "#1 " because he was a cinderella story, thats it.
no, it was because he beat the Number One WW in the world in Zab. Just like every other time in boxing.

He got the Judah fight because he was supposed to be a pushover. So saying "Baldomir was #1 ", without going into context doesn't really show an agenda on your part.:beli:
this gotta be the stupidest thing Ive read on here

And no, Margarito had no plaster, or else he would have been suspended for life.
:dwillhuh:

Tony would have KOd Floyd.
:rudy: :heh:

dumbass

Remember when you picked Cotto to beat Tony because "hes faster, a better boxer, and knows how to cut off the ring"? I do. And Cotto got his shyt pushed in. Floyd would have too. Which is why he stayed away from prime welterweights in 07, 08, 09, 10. After the Hatton fight, Floyd said this, "I'm not trying to fight no welterweights.". Pretty much says it all.
your :troll: game :salute:

Once again, The top 5 WW's when Floyd instead fought Ricky Hatton, a 140lber and then retired after that fight, were:

1) Floyd Mayweather - Champion
2) Miguel Cotto
3) Paul Williams
4) Shane Mosley
5) Antonio Margarito

Floyd didnt fight Cotto until 5 years later (2012) and after he was destroyed 2x by Pac/Margs.

He never fought Paul Williams

He didnt fight Shane Mosley until 3 years later (2010) when he was 38 years old and had only fought twice in 3 years before fighting Floyd

He never fought Antonio Margarito

How is that NOT a blatant duck?

You dont get props for other people beating an opponent:russ: Only Floyd stans do that shyt:mindblown:

"See Pac lost to Marquez....so Floyd would've beat him too":rudy:

Fights are won & lost in the ring and different fighters bring different intangibles to the ring. Floyd ducked all 4 of those prime WW's and came back once they started knocking each other off acting as if he didnt need to fight them anymore (PW and Margs), because they had lost or they were now ripe for the picking (Cotto & Mosley)

But Victor Ortiz/Robert Guerrero were able to fight Floyd after beating a B-Level opponent in Andre Berto:childplease:

so when he beats Tzsyu, you can discredit Floyd for beating a washed up Tszyu like you did with the DLH fight earlier? :ld:

Because that is what you would do.

Fighting Tszyu would've been better for his resume than fighting Bruseles and you know it. Maybe Floyd could've taken the credit for beating Tszyu into retirement instead of Ricky Hatton:yeshrug:

And yes, DLH was washed up.....more so than Tszyu was. DLH was 34 year old, a heavy alcholic drinker and reportedly using coke even during training camps, and was 2-2 in his last 4 fights before fighting Floyd.

Hell, DLH went 3-4 in his last 7 fights before finally retiring...only beating Ricardo Mayorga, Stevie Forbes, and getting a gift decision over Felix Sturm. He should've been 2-5 in his last 7 fights

Is that not a washed up fighter?

But what does that mean though?:patrice:

That's like me saying that Alvarez has faced more undefeated fighters in his 8 year career already (4) than Floyd has faced in 17 years (only 2)

Neither of those "facts" mean anything when its time to actually get in the ring:yeshrug:

It means he going to beat the brakes of Alvarez.

He should.

He's faster, better boxer, more accurate puncher, better defensively, better stamina, longer reach, taller (by 1/2 an inch):yeshrug:

Alvarez has to try to win on his size, strength, and power, as well as throwing combinations at Floyd in hopes of stealing rounds or maybe even catching Floyd. He has decent speed and good defense, but his stamina is garbage though....he really needs to work on that in training camp.

I got Floyd winning 7-5.
