QB is the highest paid position in football. A backup makes about 10% salary of what a starter makes. He’s made backup $ his entire career(9 years $31 million) except for when he Finessed the QB needy Bears.

I dont think yall remember or realize how egregious and blatant that white privilege was in effect when he signed to the bears to be the STARTER.
When he signed to the Bears in 2017 he only appeared in 2 games in the 2016 season.
The last time he started a game at that time was 3 ½ years prior in 2014. He wasnt even in the league for the 2015 season. He was 5-13 as starter and they signed him to 18 million.
A black QB could NEVER have that resumé and even be in the league.

Been a while since I seen a black QB stick around in the league for a long time as just a back-up. There’s always been a couple. A lot of times used for the occasional gimmick play. But not too many overall
And their children and grandchildren will be Cac privileged and become judges that continues the tradition
