There's no reason for him to be fired. Never had a losing season, 2 sb appearances, one ring. Seriously wtf is wrong with some of yall spoiled ass nikkas, as a Skins fan, if I had a coach with those credentials, man Id let that nikka coach w/o any grumbling until he dies

Black coaches do not get cut any slack. He will be gone if he can't get it turned around.

Cowher had 3 straight non playoff seasons and still kept his job....although Dan Rooney was in charge then. Art II might not have that kind of patience

If this was any other franchise I would agree, however the Rooney family as advocated for minority management people for years. The reason they are terrible is...

1. The loss of Pouncey is turning out to be bigger then we think

2. Haley is a terrible offensive coordinator. Him and Ben have not seen eye to eye since he got there....Im sure there are people who remember how pissed Ben was when Bruce Arians was forced out the door.

3. They haven't drafted as well as they used to. Year after year they used to let premium talent walk out the door cause they didnt want to pay them......only to replace them via the draft and not miss a beat.

I don't think they missed Pouncey at all tonight. Velasco did well for being in church last week. Now as far as all the other linemen go:patrice:

Also, let it be known, the Steelers would not be able to handle the bad press with firing Tomlin.

Start the Rooney rule, but then turn around and fire your first black coach? Who has a ring and never had a losing season prior?

Yea makes no sense, dude is owed at least 3 more seasons (incl this one) imo. Imo unless it's evident he's losing the respect of players in the lockeroom and they start having horrendous 4-12 type seasons then nikkas need to calm the fukk down

whoever decided to start substituting when the receiver was ruled down at like the cincy 15, but it was plain as day a fumble, should have been fired right then. hike the damn ball before the other team can throw the challenge flag. lol @ subbing players in during a situation like that

I was yelling at the tv at that point. Ben was hurrying them down the field to snap the ball and then I see substitutions:snoop:

From Tomlin's post game

After the David Paulson fumble, it looked like Ben Roethlisberger was going to run a play real quick, spike it or something, but didn’t. Was that his call there?

That is always a collective thing. Sometimes when you are on the grass you have a different perspective or a better perspective than maybe those on the sideline. I don’t know what he saw. He is probably in better position to answer that. But largely when you get those types of plays, particularly on the road, they are not going to allow you to get up there and snap it. Their replay booth is going to work in conjunction with their sideline to make sure they get the necessary looks. The bottom line is the ball was on the ground.

I see what you mean....is Velasco a natural C or was he playing out of position?
