I agree with those sayin talent is the issue.

Outside of Roethlisberger's scrambling, nothin is exciting about this team.

My question is, would those hardworking white ppl in Pitt be open to a flashy offense? U know some of those ppl would rather win the ugly way instead of flashy.
There is a portion of the fanbase that longs for that 3 yd and a cloud of dust bullshyt. They still are angry that Hines was released. They think you need a bruiser at running back ala Jerome Bettis. They wanted to run Ben out of town based off accusations. They believe the 70's Steelers were boy scouts while ignoring Ernie Holmes shooting at police copters on the freeway, Joe Greene kickin nikkas in the balls on the field. Love my squad, but I realize a lot of the fan base are dumb as fukk:snoop:

As far as Tomlin/Arians/Haley goes it was Tomlin who said the Arians would be brought back and then he "retires" only to end up in Indy. That to me says Art II stepped in and ordered Arians be released. Tomlin said hiring Haley was his choice but I truly believe it was an Art II hire, especially considering his father's ties to the organization. It was Art II who wanted us to run the ball more, wanted Ben to tweak his game, etc.

Nah, he's not going anywhere, regardless of how they finish. That's just not how the Steelers do business.

Now, let it be known that I'm :dj2: at their crappiness so far, but that said, I don't want the bottom to fall out and see them go 2-14, 3-13 or something. I don't want them to even get close to competing for Clowney/Teddy.

Even Tomlin can't avoid the nepotism that is the Haley hire

Says a lot about the players when your best Olineman was sitting in church a week ago getting a phone call to come and play. This sorry display has little to do with Tomlin and a lot to do with the players.

There are so many things wrong right now with this team. Young oline is underachieving, qb and oc hate each other, to me it seems like Clark is throwin shots at the dline and lbs with his talk...this team is just in turnmoil right now. I see a week five implosion with Ben going off if Haley isn't fired.
