Not for nothing, but listening to the LeBatard Show earlier, and that ESPN news break (that they play during every commercial break, SMH) said that it (his kid being there) was agreed to when he signed, and that he wouldn't have signed if they hadn't agreed to it.

I understand Adam LaRoches feelings but as a dad I think it actually sets a poor example for his son. Sometimes we need to accept that there are boundaries in and out of work and that they should be respected. Baseball like any other sport relies on a lot of different personalities and some of guys probably feel stifled having to hold back f-bombs and not tell stories about smashing some single mom in the back of a loaded chevy truck. Or not crack open a beer or take an 'aspirin'. The manager's request was very reasonable. All he said was don't bring you son every day, he didn't say 'keep that pimple faced fakkit out my lockerroom
