My bad for bumping (I couldn’t find a more recent thread searching) but I think I’m gonna just start cutting pork out of my diet. I’ve read a few things today about pork that have just turned me completely off; not to mention, pigs are nasty. I love pork chops too...

Its really a choice if you want to be a disgusting individual or not.

I know porkchops are tough to beat.... but luckily pork is one of those things that is easy to give up after a while

Pork is easy as hell to give up for me. Main thing is in America they put bacon in every damn thing

It's only hard if you love bacon or the frozen pizza options. Also.ribs..beef ribs are too expensive for very little meat.

Mod pizza out here in seattle have chicken sausage options though

honestly I dont even like chicken like I used too. I eat meat as if I was hunting it. Ocassional slabs, sometimes beef, sometimes venison, buffalo every now and then. Besides ungulates though, I find most other meat lacking in terms of fill and nutrients. Plus just on the environmental tip, Id rather leave animals that can eat natural waste a lot alone, they're the recyclers of the earth for a reason.

Also pigs are unclean because of the conditions that humans keep them in. They don’t sweat and prefer to roll on mid to cool down like a hippopotamus . Left to their own devices they eat roots and mushrooms etc.

Bacon, pepperoni, sausage, and ham all get ate in my household.

Outside of that, my primary protein is chicken
