My bad for bumping (I couldn’t find a more recent thread searching) but I think I’m gonna just start cutting pork out of my diet. I’ve read a few things today about pork that have just turned me completely off; not to mention, pigs are nasty. I love pork chops too...

In Haitian so we would eat pork a lot because of griot, which is fried pork, but that’s a staple meal. Recently my mom cut out red meat and pork altogether to be healthier like the OP said.

I’ve also wanted to cut out pork but now that I did and it’s been a few months I can’t even look at pork the same. I find it gross. I still get cravings for red meat but even that’s going away like the thought of a McDonald’s burger is disgusting now

Swine will eat their own feces. I’ve never had or hunted wild hogs but I think most peoples adverseness to it stems from Abrahamic religious practices

me I’ll eat that shyt up but in moderation
