Drake connects with people. First time I heard So Far Gone I knew this nikka was next in line. There was no doubt about it. Actually the first thing I ever heard was Best I Ever Had and say what you want but that track is godly. That's like a monumental record right there. shyt was perfect.

I think people just aren't big on the fact that a sensitive dude is on top and runnin shyt instead of the usual shyt we expect from rap artists. You know the macho alpha male type dude who pouts his chest.

But Drake just makes great music and let's be honest no one is fukkin wit him on the rap/r&b tip. That's why we love him. Cause he could hit you with BOTH. And he's nice at BOTH. Drake is a rapper who has pretty much mastered the aspect of flow and cadence to provide great music and memorable verses that are quoted on a large scale in hip hop

Some of his most recent and great examples of this would be songs such as
