Middle America is full of CACs getting paid 30+ per hour for low skilled manufacturing jobs.

Meanwhile new grads are competing with eachother for 40k a year entry level jobs.

:mjcry: damn the latter sounds like me. I worked my ass for a job that barely makes ends meet. Guess I was doing it wrong

Many of the Black college students got the game messed up thinking they can just be average like White people. Unfortunately, you have to be exceptional as a Black person and even then, the plain average White person may still get the better opportunities.

This is 1 of those things black people seem to accept universally, but I don't get why:what:. That shyte, to me, is so insulting and ridiculous that it can only help to foster black inferiority studies and propaganda. Imagine working twice or even 3 times harder than someone just because of your skin hue and accepting that as a "no choice" scenario.

That shyte is slavery all over again, when blacks would be in the fields all day working hard and some lazy cac would roll out of bed to check on them and call them lazy and tell them they need to work harder.

How you gonna work twice as hard as someone, but accept less for no other reason besides skin pigmentation or gender, and then convince yourself that you have equal value as a human being.:skip:

Reminds me of, ' equality didn't happen with Jackie Robinson, it started to happen when the first black baseball player was allowed to suck'

I always felt like a black person's bachelor's degree was the equivalent to a white person's associates degree, and a black person's master's degree was the equivalent to a white person's bachelor's degree.

Stuff like this has a subliminal negative effect on black minds. Believe it. Yeah we know it's bullshyt as grown folks but imagine kids without guidance reading stuff like this.

...and that's just a couple, but the point is that if you got connections you can still eat. We don't really have that.
Also - black folks aren't really encouraged to learn trades or take blue collar jobs like this anymore. But that's another thread.

Definitely another thread but we really lost for this. Somewhere along the line we got the idea that every single person just has to be a college graduate. It's OverOptimism. College isn't for everybody just like relationships isn't for everybody. But run around telling everybody they can do this this and that regardless of whether it's for them or not and you get a mess. I guess it's a kind of numbers game. But it's ending up on some kind of Pyrrhic victory tip. If you can make a better plumber or welder than a computer scientist then go for it. Move out of your damn town and city if you have to. Or get a CDL. People literally stay looking for CDL drivers. If you have a CDL and your ass isn't working you must be stuck in some damn one horse town. A CDL is the next order of business for me.
