It's even funnier that I'm the one who said it and I AM a wife who caters to her husband. My husband is king of this castle and I get the greatest joy out of taking care of him and our family and making them happy and comfortable.
Then again m y husband didn't need to try to find a women to marry who was too young to have lived or understood the seriousNess of marriage .

I hear you. There's definitely women (and men) who get married having no intention whatsoever of being a spouse and doing what needs to be done to have a successful marriage and healthy children and grow financially together.
I don't think it's fair for men or women to rob the other spouse of finances and time under false pretenses.
tof many posters in this thread aren't actually looking for a good woman. Sure the thread is supposed to be about no good woman and when will they settle. A lot of these guys don't want a goof woman. They want a young woman or they want a hot woman or a shapely woman or a woman to get back at all the women that did them wrong in the past.

Marriage is very serious and there are so many facets that go into it to actually make it work. Just picking the prettiest package or newest model isn't the guarantee that people want it to be.

My point was that people need to look for deeper attributes than just beauty. Beauty isnt gonna cook you a meal or raise good children. beauty isnt the number one indicator of someone being a good partner.
Look for only beauty or youth and dont get mad when thats all you get.
