This is clown shyt. Shaq is a multi millionaire with holdings in 20-30 businesses at any given time. He doesn't micro manage and decide what films run at any location of a theater chain he owns. That wouldn't make him a hypocrite.
So Shaq is allowed to host the movie in his theater. Jeff Bezos is allowed to sell and host it on amazon. But Kyrie gets canceled for tweeting it.

Kyrie has the freedom to view and promote whatever content he chooses to.
The same way Shaq voiced his opinion publicly, would be the same way he'd publicly pull the movie from the screens if it was brought to his attention.
We all know this to be true, but YTer logic makes people ignore reality and run with what they want to run with.

In order for Shaq to be a hypocrite he would have to have had prior knowledge that this documentary was going to be shown at the CityPlex12 (which has 12 theaters), which you have to ask yourself, if he's had ownership since 2012, do you think he would know and oversee every single film that has ever been shown at his establishment?
Of course, not.
At the very most, he can be ruled careless for not hiring someone who vets independent films before they're shown (and even then that doesn't necessarily safeguard him either). Nothing more.
This is a weak ass attempt at a gotcha, and running interference for Kyrie with these whataboutisms by dragging another Black man down with a false
equivalence, makes you the real hypocrite.

You realize anybody can rent out a theater. The theater does not monitor the content for a private screening and event which is what it was. If you rent the theater you can show whatever you want. Indie film makers do this all the time.

That's the message I'm getting from these cats ain't no mental gymnastics you can use to say Kyrie should've known better about what he's posting but not apply that same logic to Bezos or Shaq for giving the film a platform.
Follow your logic:
If Kyrie is posting something himself, yes, he should know what it's about. Nobody else is in control of his twitter account, but him. He's the one who posted it. If you don't have any evidence of Shaq having actual knowledge this documentary was being shown, how can he possibly be guilty on the same level? Was Shaq up in the projector room putting the documentary on himself, was he? Was he going around town putting posters up?
