You're right, but by the same token don't you think it's counter productive to emasculate good samartians in DV situations, most of which have no sexual/romatic interest in the victim, but are either genuinely close with them or have a general concern about people their community, as "simps" and slander DV victims across the board as "drama loving"?

Myob or being a good samaritan is a personal decision, at the end of the day. There's no need to slander, shame, or insult a person for doing either.

There's actual mostly male armed black community groups here in Houston who make it their jobs to perform intervention in DV situations. These brothers are mostly in relationships, don't vie for attention, and certainly aren't looking to get with the victims(not all of which are adults or female).
