Your deposit should be something you're okay with losing whether it's just 20 bucks or $2,000.
And you should only be betting 5% to 10% of your bankroll and gradually build in that manner unless your like a Mayweather, etc.

Nope. Americans look down on betting but it's starting to turn around. The UK is exactly where I was thinking of when I made that statement because my friends tell me over there placing a bet is like buying a drink - just a basic thing no one gets bytchy about. Congress shut down online gambling for poker a few years ago and shyt really hit the fan. Now they and major leagues like the NBA are talking about legalized sports betting for places other than Vegas.
