I read an article once on Wizard of Odds where they simulated the wrong plays over a million+ hands and the choice did not affect the wins over other players at the table. It's one of those things where perception does match reality. When someone 'messes up the deck' you remember it more than when it helps you.

its a gamble the type of players you'll get at every table.... I've seen dumb nikkas staying on 12+ against a 10 too many times

for my money if I am gonna play bj, its gonna be head up or nothing

I prefer 2-3 other players as you get to see more cards come out. Plus, I have a 2 hour drive to the casino and playing 1 on 1 at a 50/100 table can get dangerous real quick.

Nope. Americans look down on betting but it's starting to turn around. The UK is exactly where I was thinking of when I made that statement because my friends tell me over there placing a bet is like buying a drink - just a basic thing no one gets bytchy about. Congress shut down online gambling for poker a few years ago and shyt really hit the fan. Now they and major leagues like the NBA are talking about legalized sports betting for places other than Vegas.
