Anyone know if I can get a quote without signing up ?

Also is based on county or ???

I'm wondering what my rates will be in a city as opposed to a rural area?

My mother had to cancel her insurance because the insurance companies jacked up her rates. She is a sole proprietor and runs her own business, so she is forced to buy her own insurance. She isn't old enough for medicare. She has been trying to get quotes on the Obamacare website, but to no avail. Hopefully with this tech surge, this issue will be rectified.

From the get go, i was all for a PUBLIC OPTION, that would be available to those between 45-65 because it is the older americans that tend to get the worst deal on the private market. They are the main ones that really need help imho.

We gonna pretend like if Obama managed to pass a public option (which was impossible at the time) you wouldn't be calling it socialism/government medicine today? :russ:

Any small business owners want to chime in on your experience with the exchange?
I have an llc and am wondering if I should use that, or sign up as an individual or if I have to sign up on under the llc? For tax reasons I'm assuming it's best to sign up under the llc? idk

What about this fine? If I don't register today am I gonna get fined?

If you sign up today you're insurance will kick in on January 1st. If you wait until say tomorrow, depending on what insurance you select it might not start in January, it might start in February. In that case, you'll be fined for not having insurance in January.

This is what i found on the webpage:

If you’re uninsured for just part of the year, 1/12 of the yearly penalty applies to each month you’re uninsured.

You might want to live chat with someone on the healthcare homepage just to make sure.
