You have to know all the elements to this if you really want to be taken seriously as an artist and a fan, and know the history. You have to study it. Listen to the people that came before you. Learn the roots of this shyt.
Being in Hip Hop and not knowing the history is like coming into another country and trying to live by your own rules and laws. That's not how it works. There was foundations set down before your goofy ass came through the door
Selling out is looked down on.
Biting other rappers is a no no
You gotta be willing to battle nikkas if you claim you're the best MC, you gotta back that shyt up
