that seems cool but why risk it? No team should ever trade during a losing streak..... the Knicks who other team GM's consistently treat like Marks should definitely not trade during a losing streak.

Also yeah Minn will do everything in their power to keep Kevin love. The team owner was asked how they expected to keep him a few days ago and he said something to the affect of "winning makes it a lot easier". I don't know who the knicks plan to get but i am iffy to get rid of shump a 2 guard when most of the best FA in 2015 are forwards and centers. The knicks mistake in 2010 was focusing on lebron. What they need to do is see the bigger picture and keep their options open.

Glen dying would help too.

But if this team keeps this play up, then we'll know whether it's about winning or the market, because this team as is can be good these last 2 years, especially with Ricky leading.

The mystery is gonna be: when Adelman steps down, who replaces him, and will that person get along with Kev. If it's Rick's son David, that takes care of that. If it's Flip himself, then that's gonna be the x-factor (because Love gets along with his teammates)

My thing is, I dont think Shump will get any better. I think we should sell high now while he has value. I can't think of anyone in 20 something years of watching NBA basketball that came in a shytty finisher and became a good one. Shouldn't a 2 be a GOOD finisher? He'll be a more athletic Bruce Bowen. Thats what I think his ceiling is. I only want to move him if it makes sense tho. IMO THjr is light years ahead of Shump offensively. Already a better shooter and handles are just as good. THjr may be more athletic as well. Shump is a power jumper off 2 feet. Tim can elevate over players off 1 foot. When have you ever seen Shump take a pass off the break and rise up and stuff it over somebody? When has anyone ever thrown him an oop with defense on him, that he had to go get (again off 1 foot), AND stuff it on the defender? He just needs to improve his shot selection. Defense is all about effort. I'm not worried there.

We'd be better than 2-4 with Lin running the show? He aint much of a facilitator either....

He's playing off guard now in Houston so who knows....kid can finish at the rim though.

here's my thing dudes sleep on how important a guys like Bowen or Tony Allen (who I think shump can become better than in time) were to those spurs and celtics championship runs. ThJr is in my opinion a few seasons away and If the knicks should keep JR as the sixth man.

I hear JR is starting and that fits into the rumor the Dolan "the retard" promised him that spot regardless. In a lot of ways what has hurt the knicks is they haven't figured out the minutes yet in any realistic way. THjr should be a roleplayer and allowed to learn and JR who is reckless should be a sixth man to spark energy off the bench. The fact that they're going away from logic is all bad signs on the management side to me.

And he lost his starting job too. An he's playing off the ball now too because like I said....he's not a facilitator. So how does he help us?

The Knicks roster is such a disaster youre probably right...the only thing that helps this roster is dynamite and draft picks.

Jeremy Lin should have pulled a Jonathan Martin on the Knicks locker room.

Not drafting Lance Stephenson looks much worse than not paying some overrated flash-in-the-pan a gazillion dollars, simply because non-black fans want someone to cheer for....Stephenson was the obvious pick to anyone other than Walsh/Antoni, who were stuck on bringing in high character white guys like Landry Fields and Andy Rautins. Coulda had a budding star with a 2nd round pick...

Bowen was important for sure but the Spurs had TD, Parker, Manu. We don't have that. We need more than that from Shump and there's still Knick fans that think he can be more. I'm not one of em. Tony Allen is no scrub, believe me. But weigh that statement you made: I think shump can become better than in time. You're not even sure. And it's only Tony Allen! THjr still has a ways to go, but what I've seen makes me think the time to deal Shump is now. I'd think this with a healthy Tyson. The roster is unbalanced.

And Lance would have been out of the league the second he threw his Girlfriend down the stairs.

It's good for Lance that the Knicks didn't draft him.

Ron Artest said the same thing, that he would have done some stupid shyt if he was drafted by NY

Donnie Walsh knew what he was doing.

The Knicks GM did actually draft Stephenson

I think Walsh was still with the Knicks when Lance was drafted.

Walsh did draft Paul George and Kwahi Leonard ... Maybe we should have kept him.

I'm pretty sure the guy in the Wheelchair drafted Shumpert too ... It's hard to remember since Dolan decided to play musical chairs with the GM's lately
