Bowen was important for sure but the Spurs had TD, Parker, Manu. We don't have that. We need more than that from Shump and there's still Knick fans that think he can be more. I'm not one of em. Tony Allen is no scrub, believe me. But weigh that statement you made: I think shump can become better than in time. You're not even sure. And it's only Tony Allen! THjr still has a ways to go, but what I've seen makes me think the time to deal Shump is now. I'd think this with a healthy Tyson. The roster is unbalanced.

Shump is still on his rookie contract though? I feel he should be given room to grow and if the plan is to add some real talent in 2015 a guy like bowen/allen who werent scrubs offensively and were willing to play hard on defense becomes a premium. shyt I think Shump is better than toney allen offensively now, and if the knicks didn't switch on a dime his one-on-one defense would get a lot more shine.

Its one of the reason GM's in the league like him so much. there teams don't switch as much so having a guy who can make a star player work to score consistently has more value..... fukk it fire woodson for that reason alone. he gets more effort from the team on Defense but this switching on every play is garbage....

And Lance would have been out of the league the second he threw his Girlfriend down the stairs.

It's good for Lance that the Knicks didn't draft him.

So you're basically saying that walsh sabotaged the team, knowing he was just going to return to Indy anyway. Sounds about right...it would explain his tenure in NY....Dantoni hire, Hill pick, giving away a 2010 first round pick for nothing, giving away Lee and bringing back Anthony Randolph as the centerpiece of the deal, drafting Rautins over stephenson, giving away zach randolph and crawford for nothing, signed Amare...etc, etc..

There's always some type of reboot going on. Now these fukks want to make Melo the centerpiece? That has disaster written all over it. Giving away a 1st rounder for Bargnani when The Raptors would gave him away for fukking free. And The Knicks are never bad enough to draft a real franchise player in the drafts that they were there.
